Chicken Little

Watched Chicken little on tue 30 may. Went to UCI at tower park. Thought the animation was really good and had some cool charathers, but thought it was more for the little kiddies. It had some good laughs though. But don't think I will go out and buy it, like I said more for the little ones.

Here I added a gradient map. Going from blue fading to transparent.










Here I changed the color balance.











Here I added a gradient fill, and used the color purple.












Again I added a gradient map, and used brown colours to get an old photo look.








Here I have done a text mask, I added a text layer, then copied my background I wanted onto a new layer, then using the magic wand selected the text and pasted that onto the same layer as my background.









Here I added a radial blur filter to the background. I used a zoom effect to make it softer and make the swan stick out more.

IDENT JUDGE

Here I used photoshop to get this look. I used a filter called cutout, it is not as good as the flash but it gives me the look I was looking for.

IDENT COP

I illustrated my cop by using flash, and trace bitmap. It gives me the look I wanted and I think it looks really good.

Music

To do music for my idents we used garage band, it is really cool and a lot of fun to use. You can over lay different bits of music and import your own music, also you can change the volume of each bit of music. I really enjoyed using it, I did one piece for my ident which I really like, it goes well with the channel, calm and slow. But I found it hard to try and do another piece which is similar and not the same.

Here i created a snail character to animate, to animate it you take photos and move the snail bit by bit, I think it is really cool.

Here I made a character for my channel, I was thinking of using this character for my ident, but I thought it was too childern like and not in keeping with the channel.

Flash

Here I used flash to animate my little itv3 character. I made him wave his hand by moving the hand bit by bit on a sperate frame, then I made his hands spin round by adding a tween motion. I liked using using I think you can create some really cool animations but it is a bit tricky to get the hang of how every thing works and it is a little time consuming.

Logo Process

To do the logo I traced the orindanal logo in illusrtator using the guide lines to help me.

Fractuals

A never ending image, it is the same inage that is repeated as you zoom into it.

Here I have got a photo of a character from one of the programs from itv 3, and changed it into an illustration. I was thinking of using this idea for my idents
